Become an SAP expert during your studies
The demand for university graduates with SAP skills is growing rapidly. An SAP certificate helps you to start a successful career because it sets you apart from other graduates and significantly increases your market value.
As a participant, you will not only learn the theory you need to pass the official SAP certification exam. You will also have the opportunity to work intensively on a real SAP system over the entire four months of the course and thus develop important practical skills in working with the system.
Institute for optional studies
During your studies you have to do some modules which are not part of your domain. The credits for "key and soft skills" can be gained by courses of the Institute for Optional Studies (IOS).
The IOS offers a lot of different courses. Important is to submit your application before the end of the application phase, which usually takes place some weeks before the semester start.
Summer & winter schools from IS:link
The IS:link network organizes a course of five days (Winter School for Bachelor students) and another course of nine days (Summer School for Bachelor and Master students) together with a partner university of the network every year. These courses take place at partner universities and are planned for the semester breaks.
The focus of the courses changes every year. At the end of the course it is required to take part in a final exam. So the attendees can use the course for their graduation (under reserve of the commitment of the examination office). Additionally it's a chance to find new friends. You can inform yourself about planned Summer/Winter Schools on the websites of the IS:link network.
Student Consulting Group
Putting theoretical knowledge and creative ideas into practice: This opportunity is offered to you by "act e.V.", a student consultancy that brings together students from various departments of the university. The idea of the student consultancy was born in the sixties. Today, the concept, which originated in France, is widespread worldwide - and has been successful in Germany since 1988.
As a consultant in project groups, you develop tailor-made solutions for companies, always with a view to sustainable success.
The Chair for E-Business and E-Entrepreneurship has a special offer for prospective company founders: Within the framework of a two-day camp, students are given the opportunity to acquire the methodological and social skills they need to found a start-up and to survive in the net economy. Students learn what is important for the development and presentation of convincing business ideas and receive feedback on the potential of their own ideas and competencies.
The goal of the mentoring program is to strengthen and support students in their personal, professional and strategic competencies in the course of their studies so that they can successfully master their studies.
