In the spring of 2021, the 16th International Conference of Business Information Systems will take place at the University of Duisburg-Essen. This was decided at this year's symposium in Siegen. At the largest German-speaking symposium of the international community, current research topics will be presented and discussed to a specialist audience. At this year's conference in Siegen, topics such as data science and business analytics or the digitization of production could be found. In addition to scientific discussions, the conference will also offer workshops on more specific topics, with students also being given the opportunity to get involved in the conference under the format of the student tracks to get an idea of ​​the scientific work.

In the field of business information systems we are looking forward to this responsible task and the opportunity to present the location Duisburg-Essen as an attractive research location for business information systems.
