Specification of IT Modeling Language published in recent ICB Research Report
In the recently published ICB Research Report No. 72, Ulrich Frank, Monika Kaczmarek-Heß and Sybren de Kinderen present the extensively revised specification of MEMO ITML. This language, which is integrated with the other MEMO languages, is used to model complex IT infrastructures. IT managers thus receive powerful decision support. At the same time, business process managers are enabled to more easily understand the often complex dependencies of processes from software and hardware systems. The specification includes a comprehensive metamodel comprising numerous integrity constraints to describe the abstract syntax and semantics as well as the associated concrete syntax, which was created with the help of a graphic designer.
